I am almost willing to bet you have been ignoring your blog, video, and social network sites RSS capability.  Haven’t you?

RSS means really simple syndication.

Blog websites, in particular, have and RSS feed embedded in the software.  Many other sites also have RSS embedded in their pages.  Some examples:

Throughout the web there are probably 200 or more RSS directories… and yes, real people search these directories for information on very specific niches.  Many of the RSS Directories are very high traffic websites.

Directories like 2RSS.com has nearly 20,000 visitors per day.  So, submit your RSS feed to the directories, and you now my be increasing the chance of your site being presented to more than 1,000,000 visitors each day.

So, are you going to get wise, and start submitting your RSS feeds to the top directories?

I hope so, because here is what happens when someone finds your feed.

They click on the link to the feed to check it out

If you have good content, they add your feed to their feed reader as a subscriber

You get a new, return customer for free.  In fact, on just one of my RSS feeds, I got over 10,000 visitors in the last month.

So, if you have ten websites of equal quality, with equal competition, using the same keywords of focus, you could be bringing over 100,000 visitors to your sites each month.  Are you getting the picture?
