Product Creator:  Rob Benwell

Product Purpose: Learn to Make Money Blogging

I’ve used a number of blogging systems, and I’ve wanted to write a review of Rob Benwell’s Blogging to the Bank for quite some time.  So now, I’m finally getting to it, I’ll hope you’ll dig in and absorb, especially if your working to make money online with a business blog.

Blogging to the Bank 3.0 is a sequel program (ebook).  The original was a pretty big seller.  I know it was sold on Clickbank as is the new version.  The stated reason for the ebook’s existence is to show you how much money you or anyone can make online with a blog, and that you won’t have to work very hard doing it.  Rob Benwell backs it up because he is living proof that his system works.  Rob advertises that he makes 30k or more each month using this blogging method.

Since blogging is the method I teach in TrafficStarterPro to start a money making website that generates tons of targeted traffic, I certainly wanted to know just what Blogging to the Bank is all about.  I didn’t know anything about this system, so I really was going in blind.

I purchased my own copy, and Rob Benwell has no knowledge that I am writing this review… well he might after he does some searches :-)

Make Money Blogging

Rob Benwell does not do things the way I do.  I modeled off of Alvin Phang, and Yaro Starak.  Their blogging methods and mine are really quite different than those of Rob’s and Blogging to the Bank 3.0.  Rob’s method seem to be fairly common, but he has the most well known version on the market.

Blogging to the Bank 3.0 focuses on using the search engine and other traffic to create sales of various affiliate products.  The emphasis is using Clickbank products in the niche of your choice, get a bunch of traffic and then a bunch of sales.  Sounds simple, but is it?  Then of course, once you got it working, do it repeatedly with many blogs.

What’s the Distinction?

I know it doesn’t sound any different than my blogging.  But the big difference is, I establish myself as an authority in my niche.  My blogging is about me creating the content, and building up traffic over time.  I interact with visitors, and become a long term asset.  This I learned from Alvin and Yaro.

In Blogging to the Bank 3.0, the emphasis is not on relationships, its on review copy.  His goal is to find a high potential income source.  There is no emphasis on creating a long term relationship.  The methods for getting traffic are sound, and probably will start an income faster than my “relationship” blog.  So if faster income is the goal, then Blogging to the Bank is likely to work for you, and probably a lot easier.

For me, I like it because I find ways to blend the styles of several top Bloggers and create the best of both worlds.  So even for a blogger like me, Blogging to the Bank is worth the purchase.

Who’s it For?

Blogging to the Bank is clearly targeted for beginners.  Like most ebook programs, you should be serious if it’s going to work.  This is for serious beginners.  It’s not a completely, hold you by the hand book.  It is a big process with a number of the essential elements drawn out in detail.

If you are completely new to doing anything at all on the internet, you may have some real problems with this program.  It’s not going to take you through any technical hurdles – just hand them to you.  That’s a major difference from my own TrafficStarterPro which I teach all the technical steps as well.

However, most of the technical things can be learned very easily, and if you are willing to spend the time looking and assembling information — it probably can be done in open sources.

What are the Steps?

This is really a process where he tells you do this then do that.  It is the actions you need to perform.

So I will lay this out as quickly as I can.  Here’s what’s in Blogging to the Bank 3.0…

  • How to do keyword research using Google, and how to find the target products in Clickbank
  • How pick a domain name and set up your Wordpress Blog.
  • How to optimize your blog for all your readers and for the search engines.  Also, key plugins to use for monetizing your blog.
  • How to create content. Some yourself, and also with private label rights content, using article directories and outsourcing.
  • How to promote your blog with link building, Web 2.0 and SEO.
  • How to sell Clickbank products and to sell advertising on your blog.
  • How to repeat this over and over again…

But of course, you have to take action, or nothing will happen.  You can’t just do some of it, and see all the benefits.  No way.  Don’t be ridiculous.

What’s the Bottom Line?

If you are really just up for finding wherever the money is, and you don’t care one hoot about any passions, then this is the thing for you.  It shows you how to find the money niche products, set up the blogs, market them and repeat it.

If you are already blogging and establishing yourself as an expert in your niche, then don’t do this, because it won’t help you.  If you’re like me, and you like to blend things, then maybe you do want this.

But if you aren’t really strong with blending new mixes, then you won’t want to change courses with Blogging to the Bank 3.0.  Stay where you are, and follow your current model.  Keep your rudder straight.

The cost at the time of this review is $37.  It’s worth it if you fit the bill above.  Blogging for the Bank 3.0 has a very good bonus package as well.  Like all Clickbank products, it has a 60 day guarantee.  You get your full money back if you don’t like it, or you’re not an action taker.

P.S. So what do I think is better – my TrafficStarterPro or Blogging to the Bank 3.0  Well of course I recommend my course first.  TrafficStarterPro has a slightly different focus, and a lot more comprehensive.  So yes TrafficStarterPro is slightly more expensive, but it is really way more in-depth.  But Blogging to the Bank 3.0 is totally about money, so that is a different focus.

So I do believe Blogging to the Bank is worth having.  You learn techniques I don’t teach.  But they don’t mix well with TrafficStarterPro. In fact, if you are fully developed in a niche as a blogging authority, then you might well want to add Rob’s techniques to your portfolio.
