What is it that drives you to want to have an online business?
Is it something beyond just making more money?
If it isn’t then maybe you need to think again.
Of course it’s great to make more money, but few people ever succeed by simply wanting to make more money. There is something else.
For me, I was without a home, without a job, no credit, no back account, no car, no bed, no blankets. I had a suitcase and a box. I had to do something. My business partner and I were both in the same boat.
No one would give us a job with real pay. We knew we had to make a difference through our own determination, and our own powerful wills.
I got a low paying job — something to get money coming in so I could work on a business. Businesses don’t build themselves for free. Not even and online business. I knew that and my business partner, Danny knew that. But we were going to make our worlds better.
I was working in a retail store. It was miserable! I empathize completely with everyone working in a retail store. The knuckle-heads that have to come into your store, and then start attacking you, and putting you down really just ruin your days.
I didn’t know people acted like such rude and disrespectful behemoths until I worked in a retail store. When one of these clowns comes in, and you tell them that you don’t have the service they want you to have, or that they have to pay for something they think should be free (God only knows why they come in a STORE and think a service is free???), the turn into devils, go on the attack, and then twist you around to try and make you believe that you as the retail sales person are rude (and not them).
People would come in several times a week and pull these stunts. It would upset me so much, my hands would shake, my stomach would ache, and I would cry on the inside from the incredible psycho attacks. Oh how this drove me even harder to succeed with my online business.
I had to get out of there, come hell or high water!
My parents taught me never to act that way to anyone, and I never really realized how often it happens because I didn’t associate with people who acted like that. Oh my God, it was upsetting.
So you see, you must have some motivation beyond just wanting money.
